New Delhi: In one other blow to Congress, Jaiveer Shergill on Wednesday resigned because the nationwide spokesperson ruing how decision-making within the social gathering was being influenced by self-serving pursuits.
In his resignation letter to Congress president Sonia Gandhi, Shergill stated, “It pains me to say that decision-making is not for pursuits of public and nation, fairly it is influenced by the self-serving pursuits of people indulging in sycophancy and persistently ignoring on-ground actuality.”

His resignation comes days after leaders of the G23 grouping Ghulam Nabi Azad and Anand Sharma resigned because the chairman of the marketing campaign committee in Jammu and Kashmir and the chairman of the steering committee for Himachal Pradesh Meeting elections, respectively.
Based on the stories, Shergill, who’s a well-recognized face on TV debates, hadn’t been allowed to carry press conferences for the previous few months.
